Our story
A strong conviction since 2015
Founded on 9 August 2015, Daara Moderne Imam Malick was born of a strong conviction: children can receive an education that brings together academic excellence, the values of Islam and the principles of the Republic.
Our French-Islamic teaching follows the national curriculum of the Ministry of Education, from nursery to primary school, in a close partnership between school and family for each child's intellectual, moral, social and spiritual growth.
To raise a generation of competent, responsible women and men, true to their values and ready to serve their community.

Dear parents, partners and visitors,
It is with immense joy that I welcome you to the official website of Daara Moderne Imam Malick.
Our school is a place of excellence that brings together the teaching of the Holy Quran, Islamic values and modern education. From nursery to primary school, we support every child's intellectual, moral, social and spiritual development.
Our programme follows the official curriculum of Senegal's Ministry of Education. Pupils build solid skills in French, English, mathematics, reading, writing, science and citizenship, while receiving a quality religious education. We also give an important place to living together, respect for the environment, discipline and solidarity.
At Daara Moderne Imam Malick, we believe every child has a unique potential. That is why we do everything we can to offer a safe, stimulating environment where our pupils can succeed at school and in life.

01From what age can I enrol my child?
Enrolment is open to children old enough to join the nursery class (Petite Section) and to pupils joining primary school.
02Which levels are available?
We welcome pupils from nursery (Petite, Moyenne and Grande Section) through primary school, from CI to CM2.
03What makes Daara Imam Malick special?
A French-Islamic education that combines academic excellence, religious education and personal development.
04Do you offer a Daara (Quran) programme?
Yes. Pupils can attend Daara lessons during the week, alongside their school curriculum.
05Which documents are needed to enrol?
A birth certificate (required), two recent passport photos and the latest school report.
06Is there a day-boarding option?
Yes. Day boarding gives pupils closer supervision throughout the day. Full boarding is also available.
